This summer, I rode IndyGo, Indianapolis's public transportation system. This is the account of my summer riding experience. I carpool now - not nearly as interesting, but still green.
People didn’t think I would ride IndyGo, so I emailed stories. The emails were forwarded to other friends and coworkers, and people wanted to know how the IndyGo girl was doing, so "Indy Gets Green the blog" was born.

IndyGo Happy Hour
If the bus is like a bar, then it must be happy hour. There are 35 people on a bus with 24 seats. Make that 36. Cheers.
I am an Indianapolis Young Professional who decided now is the time to start taking public transportation.
I started this blog to share the funny stories of my bus travels. I also want to provide a realistic picture of Indy's public transportation system, the strong points and the areas which need improvement.
I hope my experiences encourage you to think differently about public transportation, motivate you to ride the bus, and inspire you to incorporate green choices into your lifestyle.
